Since 1954, the Friends of the LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library has been dedicated to raising funds for the library system and promoting library programs and activities.
As a volunteer-run nonprofit, we support the library’s mission to provide essential resources, programs, and services to the community through membership, donations, Friendshop sales, and fundraising events.
As board president, I see firsthand the profound impact our library system has on Tallahassee’s families. The library is a place where children discover the joy of reading, and adults find resources for lifelong learning and personal development. The library is essential to the fabric of our community.
